Sunday has had an enormous impact on San Jose Unified, and we are lucky to have found her! She has worked with school site teams of teachers, intervention specialists, instructional coaches, and principals to understand components of early literacy within a literacy block and to implement small group literacy instruction. We have had a combination of theory, classroom application, and real-time coaching. Sunday has gone above and beyond to support our teachers and students, even when she isn't physically in San Jose. We have seen a huge amount of growth in the students that have been impacted, and we are thrilled to continue our work with her in the future!"
Sunday’s strategies are very clear, easy to follow and apply. They are doable and useful! As an intervention specialist, her strategies and coaching have equipped me with tools that help students engage with informational texts. The strategies become tools for them as well. They support students in becoming strategic readers."
